Plymouth Ice Sculpture Spectacular Dazzles Many


The oldest and the largest festive Plymouth International Ice Sculpture Spectacular will again delight spectators this year in downtown Plymouth Michigan. Ice artisans come from as far away as Japan to show off their chainsaw wielding talents. Kellog Park, located in downtown Plymouth, hosts this world class, ice carving competition and is a great draw for those who own homes in Plymouth Michigan as well as those from all over the world. Ice artisans of all kinds gather to carve out their sculptures out of 300 pound ice blocks and make them a light dazzling piece of winter artwork.

In addition, the festivities include specialty shops of all kinds and delectable foods of every sort. Many Plymouth homeowners learned to find unique gifts for the holiday season during the celebrations. There are over 24 restaurants in the downtown Plymouth area that specialize in everything from ethnic specialty foods, elegant and casual dining of all kinds.
